전남목포에서 있은 남북통일과 한반도평화 번영을 위한 종교지도자 평화 컨퍼런스에서 본협의회를 통하여 그간 민간 통일운동 활성화와 한반도 평화통일 기반조성에  기여한 간부 들에게 김연철 통일부장관의 공로 표창장 수여가 있었다.
